The narration becomes the structure of the new video. Instead of placing audio over the full original episode, DramaPartner selects and reorders relevant scenes around each line of the recap.
| Mode | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| AI narrated recap | Script, voice, captions and scene re-edit | Explaining a complete story quickly |
| Highlight clipping | Keeps original dialogue and cuts a strong scene | Confrontations, reveals and cliffhangers that already make sense alone |

What you still need to review
AI can miss context, simplify a plot turn or pronounce a character name incorrectly. Before publishing, check the story facts, voice, captions, scene order and any platform-specific disclosure.
- Use only footage you own or have permission to edit and publish
- Confirm names and relationships
- Check captions against the voice
- Make sure the opening makes sense without the full episode
- Review each platform's current posting rules
What each tool costs
Upload alone does not spend generation credits. Review the quote before starting; after checking the source duration, we reserve credits before cloud processing. Success does not charge again. Failed jobs return reserved credits; failed highlight versions return their corresponding credits.
Input minutes round up: 1:01 of narration costs 6 credits for one version, not 3. Translation at 3:01 costs 2 credits. For narration using a selected range, the processed range—not the whole upload—is used for the quote.
| Tool | Credit calculation |
|---|---|
| AI narration | 3 credits × started input minutes × versions |
| Optional original-subtitle removal (narration only) | +2 credits × started input minutes × versions; off by default |
FAQ
Questions creators ask
Does DramaPartner narrate the whole episode?
No. It understands the uploaded source and creates a shorter narrated recap using selected scenes.
Can the output use Spanish, Portuguese or Indonesian narration?
Not currently. Those languages are available for the website interface; narration output is currently English or Chinese.
Is this limited to ReelShort or RS Boost?
No. You may use footage from any source when you have the right to process, edit and publish it.
